Some Reviews...

Pittsburgh at Tampa Bay
Two teams recovering from early season slumps. The Lightning are playing like champs right now. Two scoring lines are clicking. The third and fourth are making things difficult. This team is scary. Pittsburgh is still a defenseman away or something. Granted last night's game was without Evgeny Malkin C. That is big. But he's not known for defensive plays. And the Lightning created and finished some beauties. Sidney Crosby C is in form. Love this kid. He does so many little things well.

Arizona at Anaheim
Sadly, the Coyotes could not slow this hot Ducks team down. The Ducks are coming together. Similar to the Lightning, they are scoring with their top lines and being difficult with the others. Hampus Lindholm D is proving himself to be a top-tier d-man. Arizona needs points. And they need Anaheim to not get points. This game hurts. The 'Yotes are young and have a future, but if they want the longer season they have to win these games. Their lack top-tier depth on offense and defense gets illuminated against team like the Ducks and Kings.

Carolina at Winnipeg
The Canes had to win this game. Winnipeg is pulling the Paul Maurice shrivel and die routine (he's done it with a variety of teams). The Canes are hoping to make the playoffs. The Canes played a great game, capitalizing on some good opportunities. The Jets, well, the Jets just don't have it. I don't fully understand how a team becomes so inept. It's like the Avs at the beginning of the season - the personnel were in place, but the team just looked lost. They recovered and coach Patrick Roy looks solid. The Jets look lost. Maurice is gone. The trade deadline will be interesting though.
