Games Tonight: October 28th

These are tough to call. Every game could go either way.

24 Calgary at 21 Ottawa
Calgary is due to put things together at SOME point. They have pretty good talent, a decently deep defense, anyway. But I will start thinking otherwise if they don't bring it together. Other than Giordano on defense, they don't have any true top-tier talent. And maybe that is what's going on. Ottawa isn't a lot better. Karlsson on defense is a star, but no others really. Turris is close. I think the team is playing better system, team hockey. This is a game a team like Ottawa needs to win, just to show they are becoming a better a team.
Ottawa

16 Pittsburgh at 2 Washington
Pittsburgh is 4-1 in their last 5 and they still aren't really scoring. If they are finding themselves and they start scoring, they can beat anyone. Washington has been playing good hockey all season. If not for a faulty alarm clock, they too may be undefeated. Oh well. Ovechkin is playing near unstoppable offense. When there is a crack in the defense, he seems to find it so far this season. Overall the team defense is stronger than I have seen it. (no more Mike Greene, maybe?) This should be a battle.

3 Nashville at 15 San Jose
