Reviews: October 14th

Ottawa 7 Columbus 3
Crazy game. Lotsa goals. Columbus is hurting. If they score, they get opened up and scored upon. If they don't score, they get scored on anyway and then open up and get scored on more.

Read this morning that they (CBJ) had a closed door team meeting. Change is in the air?

Ottawa is...Ottawa. Talented group. All the pieces. Always able to take advantage of weak play.
Turris, Bobby Ryan and Ahmadinejad..er...what's his name...Zybnekajed...Zibanejad are fun to watch. great skaters and nice hands.

Chicago 0 Philadelphia 3
When will the madness that is Philadelphia stop? I don't have this team figured out. Neuvirth is not THAT good - he is shiny though. Maybe I have that defense group under-rated. I like Sam Gagner - glad he got a goal.

Boston 6 Colorado 2
Is Boston done rebuilding? Of course not, this is the type of game that confirms my uncertainty with and doubt in the Avs. (Of the first 4 goals, only one could be blamed on Varlamov - his 14 saves were not easy, and the 5 goals were crap team play. The one goal that could be blamed on him, he thought it was in his glove.)

Arizona 4 Anaheim 0
Dave Tippett (coach of Arizona) trying to get that Adams trophy or something? Have the Ducks' players started to lose confidence in almighty Bruce? Tippett knows how to glue a team together - he's done it here before. And really, this Anaheim team should bounce back. Getzlaf and Perry and juggernauts!
