Games Tonight: November 3rd

A LARGE night of hockey. Because of last night and the way Nashville played Anaheim - I am unsure of everything! But here goes.

Dallas at Boston
Boston is playing very solid team hockey. If Dallas comes out as they have in recent games, they will make this one hard on themselves - as they did last night. I'll watch this one. I really haven't given Krecji and Marchand enough credit on Boston, with Bergeron and Chara, they are keeping Boston relevant.
Dallas 6/4

New Jersey at New York Islanders
Tavares is still out - or probably so - and I am remembering. New Jersey is playing solid hockey and has to be on everyone's list of surprises at this point in the season. This could be a good game - but it would be better if Tavares was playing.
New Jersey 6/4

Washington at New York Rangers
Going against my Blueshirts here - I hope they prove me wrong. Washington seems to have something they haven't had in the past - own zone reliability. The Rangers can test that.
Washington 6/4

Ottawa at Montreal
Montreal should be able to win this one. Montreal is one of the few teams I have seen no huge negative with. When they play bad, they give up the middle a bit. But even then they have been mostly solid. Ottawa is slightly more consistent than Philly.
Montreal 7/3

Tampa Bay at Detroit
The Lightning got their scoring back against the Canes. Is this indicative of them getting it going or the Canes giving up the middle and transition play? Detroit has an ability to create and at times they are tight defensively. Tampa has every piece when healthy though.
Tampa Bay 7/3

Los Angeles at St. Louis
The Kings playing another tough one. This can go either way. Both teams are playing good, tough hockey.
Tossup 5/5

Calgary at Colorado
Both of these teams suck :)
Tossup 5/5

Philadelphia at Edmonton
If Philly shows up, they can score. Edmonton will have plenty of opportunities - unless Philly shows up on that end, which they have done before.
Edmonton 6/4

Columbus at San Jose
Columbus still hasn't played a consistent own zone game. San Jose should have opportunities - they just need to finish in order to win.
San Jose 6/4

Predictability Grade: 6.00
