Seven Days: Toronto (Atlantic - 8th)

Toronto Maple Leafs might be pulling into form under first year coach, Mike Babcock. They are playing a working man's hockey. Keeping busy on both ends. Right now they are getting more than they are giving up.

Offense:
P.A. Parenteau has had a good last seven days. He can finish good set ups. Nazim Kadri and James van Reimsdyk have been playing well.

Defense:
Jake Gardiner had looked pretty beatable the game I watched, however, he had a couple of good games out there this week. Dion Phaneuf is leading them scoring - he plays hard on both ends.

Goalies:
James Reimer has been riding the wave of late. Neither goalie is bad and I imagine before the season is out Jonathan Bernier will get another chance to get some wins. IF Toronto keeps playing well, that is.

Next Seven:
Tuesday Colorado visits
Friday at Carolina
Saturday at Boston
Monday Boston visits

Well, if the Maple Leafs have turned the corner this is a good week to stay hot.

6pts

Last Seven:
Win 3 - 2 at Dallas
Win 2 - 1 (SO) at Nashville
Win 4 - 2 Vancouver
Loss 3 - 4 at New York Rangers

Toronto won their second against a pretty hot Dallas team - a team that most have not kept out of the net. Nashville is certainly a better team. And the loss to the Rangers is not a bad one.

Injuries:
No major injuries this week.

seven days Nov. 10th - 16th
