Reviews: November 2nd

Teams on a roll have to lose at some point - I didn't call it.

4 Dallas at 27 Toronto NOPE
Dallas owned a lot of the stats and Reimer will get a ton of credit - mostly deserved, but really, the Stars out-played themselves here. I didn't keep count, but the Stars had many instances of just not finishing a play. Especially in the first, they seemed a bit lazy. We'll see how they rebound - but this type of game and really the types they have been playing by giving leads away to start games will kill them in the playoffs. Toronto got a win. They should be happy. But really I think Dallas just didn't connect well on a lot of plays. Plays that got them back in a lot of games recently. Benn and Seguin got off 14 shots!
Dallas 7/3

9 Los Angeles at 5 Chicago NOPE
What happened here!? I didn't get to watch this one. Argh.
Again LA was "due" for a loss, whatever that means. But I will have to watch this one...
Hmmm. Patrick Kane happened. This will be an amazing 7 game series in the playoffs. :)
No Duncan Keith and yet the Blackhawks kept most of LA's shots to the outside - you have to give huge credit to Seabrook and Hjalmarsson. They are playing so well.
Los Angeles 7/3

13 Philadelphia at 23 Vancouver --
This one. Here watch what happens - Philly definitely is not good (they will now win 4 in a row) and Vancouver is playing decently consistent hockey. Neither of these statements can be relied on. Vancouver doesn't have the downside that this Flyers team has shown throughout this young season. Giroux is playing well. Is it Voracek? Simmonds and company disappear for games too.
Toss-up 5/5

0-2-1 tonight
score: 3.66
