Seven Days: Boston (Atlantic - 6th)

The Bruins. I know how they play and I know they aren't deep. They will need everyone clicking and finishing in this upcoming seven days. I think, though, it will be tough.

Offense:
Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci are still keeping this team competitive. These are true hockey warriors.

Defense:
Zdeno Chara, old though he is, still puts it out there nightly. His +8 is significant on this team.

Goalies:
Can't complain about the play of either of these goalies. Tuukka Rask and Jonas Gustavsson have been solid.

Next Seven:
Tonight San Jose visits
Thursday Minnesota visits
Saturday Toronto visits
Monday at Toronto

Two weeks ago this looked like a different week, maybe 6pts with the two wins against Toronto. Not now, the Leafs are playing confident. I can't see this heart-full Bruins group not getting at least one win - but it could be a very bad seven days.

1pt

Last Seven:
Loss 2 - 3 OT Colorado
Win 3 - 1 Detroit

Not a bad week considering it was almost perfect. I don't think I watch either of these games. Colorado is playing better than their early form, so not a bad point. Detroit needs to be a point for teams expecting the playoffs.

Injuries:
Colin Miller is day-to-day. He plays but not sure of the impact.

seven days Nov. 10th - 16th
