Arizona 4 Anaheim 3 (OT) NOPE
This was just another fun game to watch. So first of all, Anaheim's super duo Getzlaf and Perry weren't invisible but they were ineffective. Even to the point of Getzlaf doing a cutesy drop pass for Perry to grab at center ice in three-on-three OT - Perry not reading that play, leaving the puck sitting there for Mikael Boedker to handle one-on-one with Frederik Anderson, whom Boedker beats for the game winner on a very nice deke. These things happen. But it is the type of out-of-sync play that has kinda killed Anaheim this year. Sami Vatanen is Anaheim's best player. He is fun to watch - his goal last night was impressive. Both teams had moments in this game. Both goalies played well positionally. I was happy to see Arizona win. I really like their style and their youngsters. Max Domi, Anthony Duclair, and Tobias Reider. Domi and Duclair had goals. Domi had two. His dad, Tie Domi, was one of my favorite players from back when I started watching hockey. He played for the Rangers and was quite the fighter. Seems Max has his dad's heart but someone else hands, though.
Anaheim 7/3

0-1-0 for the night
