Offense:
Corey Perry is starting to get his points. This is important for team success.
Chris Stewart has shown he is a player. This is good.
Impressed to see what Rickard Rakell has done. He is noticeable out there and putting up some offense.
Ryan Kesler, Ryan Getzlaf and Andrew Cogliano need to step up.
Mike Santorelli is a guy that can produce but maybe just another complimentary player if other players open things up for him.
Defense:
Sami Vatanen is the real deal. But if he is pushing hard for goals, he can't be defending as well. This is a team thing. He needs protection defensively in order to truly push up like he wants and is effective doing. Overall, this defense has not stood up. It is not a bad group of defensemen, but they are missing something crucial - maybe the forwards aren't buying in well.
Hampus Lindholm and Cam Fowler have looked better in the past.
Goalies:
Frederik Andersen might be getting worn out here. He has been playing well - very solid. But the last week might be indication that he is trying too hard to get wins instead of relying on just playing solid and stopping what he can. I don't remember more than one BAD goal against him this past week, but if you start seeing a lot of overplay and easy goals - blame the team.
Next Seven:
Tonight at Carolina
Tuesday at Nashville
Thursday at Florida
Saturday at Tampa Bay
They need to get wins at Carolina and Florida.
The Lightning are having scoring issues - so this is a need to win also.
Nashville is a good measuring game - if the Ducks have holes, Nashville could hang 5 goals on them.

Rickard Rakell is playing wounded a bit. If he goes out, this could hurt team production.
