Colorado skated well and used their speed in this one. They didn't get a lot of good chances though. Arizona was able to capitalize on the few they generated. Both teams had moments of solid play. Colorado might have been worse in their own zone and at least once it caught them.

The Kings gave up a lot more junk in the middle than I would expect. Gotta give Columbus some credit - they played a big game and Los Angeles let them. The Kings didn't get a lot of good rubber on Bobrovsky as they were pushed outside, mostly and didn't get a lot of second attempts on him.

The Sharks were skating and Florida gave them space. Not a good idea with a team full of skill like San Jose. Florida had Jagr back but they were still unable to generate many chances.

Great blog! This is one of Reghans friends who is a huge fan of the Boston Bruins. Im upset about the loss but we got the next one!

ReplyDeleteThe Bruins have surprised me the season. I really thought the loss of Lucic and Soderberg and Hamilton from last year would leave them not so good. But they are playing good hockey. I love Krejci, Bergeron and Chara. I am not a fan of Marchand, but he is good.
