Games Tonight: November 4th

10 Winnipeg at 29 Toronto
I'm thinking too much credit was given to Reimer in that win against Dallas. Dallas didn't finish. Reimer did not face the same placement of shots that Dallas put in against Boston's Tuukka Rask. Anyway, all that is to say - Winnipeg will get chances and if they place them well, the Maple Leafs' win streak of ONE will end. Toronto will have to control rebounds and get to them in front of the Jets goalie.
Winnipeg 7/3

5 St. Louis at 9 Chicago
It would only be right if St. Louis wins this one - Chicago beat LA, LA beat St. Louis and now St. Louis beats Chicago. The top teams trade off. I can't ever call games well against Chicago - Kane and Toews are just that good - they can turn any bad showing into a win because they create really high percentage scoring chances out of nothing. St. Louis has a mix of talent and can finish and create and their zone focus will always make it difficult. Anisimov has been a pleasant surprise for Chicago - I've liked this guy since his days with the Rangers.
Tossup 5/5

14 Pittsburgh at 15 Vancouver
Vancouver is plays a good solid game. Pittsburgh will have chances, they just have to finish them. Chris Higgins might be back for the Canucks tonight - he is one of those players that can finish and get two goals tonight and tomorrow night but then get none in the next 6 games before getting one here and there. A little lesser Bryan Little, maybe.
Pittsburgh 7/3

16 Florida at 25 Anaheim
I don't have either of these teams figured out. I like the way Anaheim played against Nashville the other night. Even though Nashville controlled the puck a lot, they didn't create a lot of really good chances against goalie Frederik Andersen. And really, I think Carter Hutton faced more quality shots. Defenseman Sami Vatanen looked on his game - this is great for the Ducks if it is REAL. Florida's Jaromir Jagr probably won't play again tonight.
