Seven Days: Columbus (Metropolitan 8th)

Columbus is on the move, seven wins in the past 11 games against some hot hands. John Tortorella has them believing in something or at least playing like it.

Record:
19gms 7 - 12 - 0, 7 ROW (projected: 8 - 12 - 2)

Injuries:
Brandon Dubinky (an ex-Ranger) something went wrong with a cut on his elbow - IR for weeks
He's a hearty forward that plays big and often shows up in big moments.

Next Seven (Nov. 18th - 24th):
Thursday at Ottawa
Friday Nashville
Sunday San Jose

Considering last week's successes real, this week should not be as difficult. Johnny Torts will be all smiles if that happens. Look for a loss to Ottawa or San Jose, so Nashville makes or breaks this seven days.

4pts

Last Seven (Nov. 11th - 17th):
Win 2 - 1 at Pittsburgh
Win 5 - 2 Arizona
Win 3 - 1 St. Louis

Solid performances against good to better competition - Columbus has moved up. 6pts did not look possible seven days ago.

Offense:
This team has depth up front. When playing fast and on the puck with three lines, as they have recently, Columbus gives a lot of match up problems for most teams.

Defense:
Now that they are playing, they are good. Not a big believer in them. Jack Johnson is playing better - well, he got two points in the last three games anyway.

Goalies:
Both goalies are playing pretty well. Sergei Bobrovsky was in net for the three wins.
