Reviews: November 4th

A good rebound night from the last couple. It is no where close to enough, though.

Reimer played as well tonight as he did two nights ago against Dallas. Why a loss? Winnipeg finished their chances better than Dallas did. Winnipeg is a physical team. Or maybe it's just Byfuglien.

5 St. Louis 6 9 Chicago 5 (OT) --
Wow. This was three games in one. First period was a lot of loose defense and one soft goal against Brian Elliot. Kane had a sweet wrister on Jake Allen and Chicago closes out the first with a 5-2 'win'. The second period ice kinda tilted in St. Louis's favor and they clawed back into it. 3-0 that period and a St Louis 'win'. The third period is what to be expected between these two teams. And it ended in a tie 0-0. So after three, both teams were 1-0-1 - can there be more of a 'Tossup' game!

14 Pittsburgh 3 15 Vancouver 2 YES
It came down to scoring efficiency and Pittsburgh should be scoring like this. 3 goals on 23 shots - that is good. Vancouver played a good style of game but they just don't have the weapons that the Pens do. Crosby's second of the season in this one. The Pens are on a 5 game win streak with a pedantic Sidney Crosby. If he gets going, the East is Pittsburgh's. Considering the commitment to defense doesn't leave them.
Pittsburgh 7/3

16 Florida 2  25 Anaheim 3 (OT) --
Florida's first goal by Rocco Grimaldi was a sweet passing play. This is one of those games that Florida has to be disappointed with. Anaheim is starting to show work. If they put together some more good games like this, with Getzlaf in the line-up, this team will not be an easy win any more.

2-0-2 for the night
