Reviews: November 8th

Dallas 4 Detroit 1 YES
Detroit played this team very well. Dallas won but did not dominate. Detroit could be a sleeper pick to make the playoffs when Datsyuk returns. That will give them two lines and they play a very responsible style. They shouldn't be deep enough to go far - but they could steal a playoff spot in the weak East. Dallas has to find a third line combo that produces and they have to figure out how to get it out of their own zone with control. Their top two forward lines are as good as any team in the league.
Dallas 7/3

Vancouver 3 New Jersey 4 (OT) YES
The New Jersey team I have seen of late should not give up a two goal lead. They did and this game needed OT. Vancouver was able to get in the middle
New Jersey 7/3

Boston 2 New York Islanders 1 YES

Boston 6/4

Edmonton 2 Chicago 4 YES
Edmonton in the second period had a ton of opportunities. Corey Crawford, goalie for Chicago, played well by just being there - Jordan Eberle two or three chances that he just did not place well, making Crawford look stellar. Not sure what happened in that second period, because the Blackhawks were decently playing shutdown hockey the other two periods. Kane was the main story in this game. As mention before by me, Patrick Kane can change the course of any game - he can make goal scoring look easy. (read side not article about this game)
Chicago 6/4

4-0-0 for the night
score: 6.50
