Seven Days: San Jose (Pacific - 4th)

What is going to happen to the San Jose Sharks? Is Patrick Marleau getting traded? I haven't been watching a lot of their games. They had a good week - I may need to start watching them. If their defense tightens, their offense will continue to win them some games.

Offense:
This team is stacked up front. A slew of players have been scoring here for years.
Joel Ward has been playing solid for them.
Joe Pavelski is living up as Captain.

Defense:
Brent Burns has been proving over the years that he is a solid blueliner. He gets points. Paul Martin is not living up.

Goalies:
Martin Jones has been fine here. Two solid performances after being pulled against the Isles. Alex Stalock played his one game well.

Next Seven:
Tuesday at New York Islanders
Thursday at Philadelphia
Saturday at Pittsburgh

A playoff team beats Philly and one of the other games. Elevate their game and they can get all 6 of these points.

Four points for the seven days, not bad. Detroit is a similar level team. Buffalo has played well of late but are young. Still two good wins.
