Two games to go through.

Toronto 3 New York Rangers 4
I wish I could have watched this game. I saw the highlights.

The Rangers have the best record in hockey. They are playing resilient hockey - that type where they press really well when down and they make it hard for the other team to push without giving up a chance for the Rangers. Hope it lasts all year.

Mats Zuccarello, I have to agree with Derek Stepan, I love the way this guy plays. He's been doing it for a few seasons now. He grinds. He works. He plays well with others. He goes to the net. He comes back on defense. However, he scored in the past, but I didn't notice how good his hands are. Hope it lasts all year as well.

Calgary 1 Chicago 4
Chicago has Duncan Keith back and they played a very solid game. Like with the Rangers they're resilient. They play so well in their end, that in order to get chances a team will give some up and Patrick Kane/Jonathan Toews type players make you pay.

Calgary played well. I think their system doesn't cover their own zone well. The offense would really have to be on point to overcome what they give up.

Patrick Kane makes it look so easy. His hands are probably as deceptive and accurate as any. So quick.
Duncan Keith makes defense look easy. Great game.

Kari Ramo, goalie for Calgary, certainly played solid enough. A goalie off his game could have given up a lot more.
