Games Tonight: November 8th

Dallas at Detroit
Dallas is a two line team. But when one of those lines can produce like Benn and Seguin, two lines will win a lot of games. Right now, I'm not convinced that will get them far in the playoffs. Detroit plays good hockey, they just don't have great depth. They have a lot of skilled players though so they can get goals off of very simple looking plays.
Dallas 7/3

Vancouver at New Jersey
New Jersey hasn't been beaten easily since maybe their loss to San Jose early in the season and that one was not an easy win. Vancouver is a lesser Detroit to me. Some skill but not a lot of defensive depth.
New Jersey 7/3

Boston at New York Islanders
Boston has lost some tough games here, they are due for a win - if that is a real thing. New York has Tavares and he will create some chances for sure. The Isles should be more consistent - they have a lot of the pieces of a top-tier team. It seems they are susceptible defensively and really they have no one like Justin Faulk.
Boston 6/4

Edmonton at Chicago
Hard to go against Chicago. Edmonton without McDavid is an easier team but they are not inept as they have been in previous seasons. They could steal this one. Chicago is still a great team but without stalwart Duncan Keith they are not top-tier.
Chicago 6/4

Predictability score: 6.50
