Seven Days: Calgary Flames (Pacific - 6th)

Calgary Flames haven't had many solid, complete 60 minutes this season. Bob Hartley's system was able to create a lot more chances last season than it gave up. This season has been quite a disaster. Last week shows it. The Flames have two tough games to try and prove something.

Offense:
Johnny Gaudreau had a quiet week - not a good thing for Calgary. 6 goals in four games - he isn't the only one.

Defense:
No defensemen had really anything great this week. Mark Giordano and TJ Brodie are being ridden hard with lots of minutes, they can be really solid but they aren't currently. Dougie Hamilton has a lot of money in his pockets but not much else.

Goalies:
Karri Ramo hasn't really been supported. He did have a solid showing against the Caps. Joni Ortio has been equally unimportant, though. The team has to give these guys chances to win.

Next Seven:
Tuesday New Jersey visits
Friday Chicago visits

Two tough games - if either takes this team too lightly, the Flames could sneak out a point or two.

0pts

Last Seven:
Loss 1 - 3 OT at Florida
Loss 1 - 3 at Tampa bay
Win 3 - 2 OT at Washington
Loss 1 - 4 at Chicago

Where's the scoring? Not a good week - but this is how Calgary has been playing

Injuries:
Jonas Hiller is still out.

seven days Nov. 9th - 15th
